Eco-Festival

18 June 2021 – 20 June 2021

It’s time to have some summer fun in the great British countryside and put Covid behind us.

The Eco-Festival features live bands, building a giant bug hotel, delicious vegan food cooking demonstrations, a kids’ disco, outdoor cinema, a storyteller, magician, a Mad Hatter’s tea party of course, and beware of your valuables… a pickpocket!

(But don’t worry, he gives his ill gotten gains back.)

The Eco-Festival offers environmentally friendly entertainments for all the family, with a range of eco-alternatives for every lifestyle.

We’re also raising money for all the charities attending the festival, along with the Addenbrooke’s Hospital Trust, in recognition of the work of the NHS during the coronavirus pandemic.

Why not come for the festival but book for the week to enjoy historic Cambridge, the fantastic fens, walks and cycling, and everything else the area has to offer.

Weekend Features…

Story Telling: Rachel O’leary

Storyteller and writer Rachel creates and tells magical stories; she brings them to life, and seeks out stories relating to the environment and nature. Rachel has written 2 stories for our Eco-festival.
The stories – “Mad Hatter, What’s the Matter?” have been beautifully illustrated by Bob Banks. For every copy sold we are donating 50p each to the Woodland Trust and Greenpeace to help against Climate Change.

Comedy Club 4 Kids

We are, as our name very strongly suggests, a Comedy Club 4 Kids. We run shows, for those who want to see comedy for a family audience, and workshops, for those kids who want to try it themselves. We have been doing it since 2005, so well over a decade. We’re really rather good at it. Adults will enjoy some of the comedy as well.

We are excited to be attending Mad Hatters Eco-Festival – see you there

Matthew Le Mottee
Master of Mystery

Prepared to be amazed as Matthew wonders around on the Sunday afternoon of the Eco-Festival, performing close up magic to groups strolling around – we can’t wait.
